Throughout my career, first as a model and later as an actor, I've been inspired by artists and musicians, and they've been an integral part of my life.  Sean Penn saw my work in Salvador and wrote me a note, which brought me to the attention of his then wife, Madonna. One thing led to another, and I soon found myself Vogueing in her now famous "Open Your Heart" video, directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino.  It only made sense that I was drawn to the creative world of music videos, which were a high art at that period in the early eighties.  I continue to be inspired by new recording artists all the time and am honored to get to work with them and enhance the visual stories they tell with music.
